TEER 0 jobs in Canada
Management occupations
What TEER 0 means
TEER (Training, Education, Experience and Responsibilities) is the second digit of every five-digit NOC 2021 code. A code like X0XXX is TEER 0. It describes the education or training usually needed to work in the occupation — not your personal qualifications.
Typical education and training
- Management responsibilities are what define TEER 0 — legislators, senior managers and middle managers across every sector.
- There is no single education route: most roles combine a degree or diploma with several years of experience in the field being managed.
Express Entry relevance
Work experience in TEER 0, 1, 2 and 3 occupations is the 'skilled' experience that the Federal Skilled Worker Program and the Canadian Experience Class under Express Entry look for. Program rules, minimum hours and category-based draws change, so confirm current requirements on IRCC's website before you apply.
