Our purpose
Every guide and tool page on Jobeefy exists to help a Canadian job seeker take a clearer next step — write a better resume, find the right NOC, prepare for an interview, or organize their applications. If a page would not help a real person searching that topic, we do not publish it.
How we write
- Each page is built around a single search intent and a real, useful outcome.
- Examples are written for the Canadian job market (terminology, NOC, TEER, provinces).
- We use plain English. No jargon, no fluff, no padded word counts.
- We include checklists, FAQs, and links to the relevant Jobeefy tool when it can save time.
Sourcing hierarchy
For legal, immigration and regulated-profession claims we rely on primary Government of Canada and provincial sources — never on third-party summaries. Our sourcing hierarchy is:
- IRCC (canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship) — for anything to do with permits, PR, citizenship, PGWP, spousal open work permits and Express Entry.
- ESDC and Job Bank — for LMIA rules, wage data, NOC 2021 classifications and TEER definitions.
- Statistics Canada — for labour-market data, unemployment rates and demographic breakdowns cited in city or sector comparisons.
- Provincial regulators — the College of Nurses of Ontario, PEO, CPA provincial bodies, teacher certification colleges — for anything a reader needs to practise in a regulated profession.
- CRA and Revenu Québec — for tax, payroll and salary-conversion pages.
- Recognised credential-assessment agencies designated by IRCC (WES, ICAS, IQAS, CES, ICES, MCC, PEBC) — for ECA guidance.
Where we provide opinions or rules of thumb (resume length, cover-letter tone, interview structure), we say so plainly and label them as guidance drawn from Canadian recruiter experience, not law.
AI assistance
We use AI to help draft, structure, and edit content. Every page is reviewed by a human before publishing. See our AI Content Policy for the rules we apply to AI-generated material.
Updates and corrections
Pages show a “last updated” date. We refresh content when laws, NOC versions, or platforms change. To report an error, email hello@jobeefy.app with the URL and the issue.
Independence
Jobeefy is independent. We do not accept payment to feature employers, recruiters, immigration consultants, or training programs in our editorial content. If a page ever contains sponsored content or affiliate links, it will be labelled clearly.
