Acceptance
By creating an account or using Jobeefy, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Jobeefy is
Jobeefy is a software tool that helps you write resumes and cover letters, find roles, and rehearse interviews — primarily for the Canadian job market. We are not a recruiter, employer, or immigration advisor. AI-generated suggestions are starting points; you are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit to employers or government bodies.
Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Jobeefy.
- Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Don't share keys or seats.
Plans & billing
Prices are in Canadian dollars and are listed on the pricing page.
- Free: one use of each core app tool (AI resume polish, resume tailoring, cover letter, ATS scan, text mock interview, a 3-minute voice preview and one PDF export), up to 5 tracked jobs, plus the free public tools. Free uses don't refresh.
- Starter ($19.99 CAD / month): a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Billing. You keep Starter until the end of the month you paid for. Usage limits refresh on the first day of each calendar month. It includes 2 live voice mocks per paid billing month; they reset at each renewal, don't roll over and aren't refunded or carried over if unused, and they're used before any voice pack credits.
- Lifetime ($199 CAD once): a one-time payment for Starter's monthly limits for as long as Jobeefy offers the service. It never renews and is never billed again. Its voice allowance is 1 live voice mock, once, on purchase (not Starter's monthly mocks). Buying Lifetime while subscribed to Starter sets the Starter subscription to end at the close of the month already paid for.
- Voice mock packs (from $5.99): one-time purchases of voice credits, no subscription needed. Credits don't expire. If a pack is refunded, any of its credits you haven't used are removed; credits already used are not charged back, and a balance never goes below zero.
Refunds
14-day money-back guarantee. If you haven't used any paid features, you can get a full refund within 14 days of your payment. Paid features are anything your Free plan doesn't include — for example a second resume tailoring, a full live voice mock, the LinkedIn optimizer, the application queue or insights. To request one, email hello@jobeefy.app from the address on your account. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, and your account returns to the Free plan.
Once paid features have been used, payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Cancelling Starter stops future renewals; outside the guarantee above, it doesn't refund the current period.
Bring-your-own-key
You can connect your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key. When connected, AI requests are billed to your provider account, not Jobeefy. You're responsible for your provider's fees and usage limits.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Jobeefy to misrepresent yourself to employers, governments, or schools.
- Don't submit content you don't have the right to use.
- Don't scrape, resell, or rate-limit-bust the service.
- Don't attempt to extract or reverse-engineer other users' data.
Your content
You own everything you create on Jobeefy. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to operate the product. We don't sell your content and we don't train models on it.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that abuse free-tier limits.
Disclaimers
Jobeefy is provided "as is." We don't guarantee specific job outcomes, interview results, or visa decisions. Use your judgement before submitting anything generated by AI.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
