Privacy Policy

Jobeefy is a Canadian career workspace operated by Jobeefy Labs Inc. ("Jobeefy", "we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

• Account data — your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
• Career content you create — resumes, cover letters, job applications, interview sessions, and saved searches. This is yours; you can export or delete it from Settings at any time.
• Usage signals — counts like "AI generations today" so we can enforce the free-tier daily limit. We do not log the content of your prompts beyond what is required to deliver the response.
• Cookies & local storage — to keep you signed in, remember your theme, and (with your consent) to support advertising.

The backend is a managed cloud service (PostgreSQL + object storage) hosted in Canadian and US regions. Backups and infrastructure operations are performed by our hosting provider on our behalf.

By default, prompts are routed through a managed AI gateway to a hosted model provider. If you add your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key in Settings, your prompts are sent to that provider directly under your account — Jobeefy does not retain or relay them through any other service.

API keys you provide are encrypted at rest using AES-GCM. Only the last four characters are ever displayed back to you. Removing a key in Settings deletes the encrypted record immediately.

The free tier may show ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by choosing "Essential only" in our cookie banner.

Pro users and users on the Bring-Your-Own-Key plan do not see ads.

• Access & export — Settings → Account → Export JSON gives you a full copy of everything you've created.
• Deletion — Settings → Account → Delete account permanently removes your profile, content, and stored API keys. This cannot be undone.
• Consent — change your cookie choice anytime by clearing site data in your browser; the banner will reappear.

Jobeefy is not directed at people under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We'll update the date at the top whenever this policy changes materially and, when relevant, surface a notice in the app.
