How to Download Your LinkedIn Profile as a PDF (and Check It)
On a computer, open your LinkedIn profile, click Resources (or More) under your headline, then choose Save to PDF. LinkedIn downloads a text version of your profile that you can keep, share or upload to a profile checker.

Save your profile as a PDF in three clicks
If you can't find the button, check you're on a computer and not the app, and that you're on your own profile page rather than the home feed.
- Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage, then View profile.
- In the introduction section under your name and headline, click Resources. On some profiles the button is called More.
- Choose Save to PDF. Your browser downloads a file, usually called Profile.pdf.
What the PDF contains
The export is a plain, text-based version of your profile: your name, headline and location, contact details, your About section (labelled Summary), experience, education and a short Top Skills list, plus sections such as languages and certifications when you have them.
Images aren't part of it, so there's no photo or banner, and it doesn't show your Featured items or your full skills list. Check those on the profile itself.
Why a PDF instead of your profile link
Many tools ask for your LinkedIn URL, but LinkedIn shows profiles to automated visitors behind a sign-in wall, and its User Agreement doesn't allow scraping. A tool that claims to read your profile from a link is either asking you to sign in to it with your LinkedIn account or working from incomplete data.
The PDF comes from LinkedIn itself, contains exactly what you wrote, and you decide who gets it.
Use it to score your profile
Upload the PDF to the free Jobeefy LinkedIn profile checker. It reads the sections, scores your headline, About, experience and skills against the role you want in Canada, and lists the fixes that matter most. Then tick the things the PDF can't show, such as your photo, banner and Open to Work setting.
