Business Analyst LinkedIn About section example
I translate between the people who run a business process and the people who build the systems for it. Over six years as a business analyst in insurance and banking, I've run requirements workshops, mapped current and future-state processes, written user stories and led user acceptance testing. My favourite project: redesigning our claims intake with adjusters and developers. We cut the process from fourteen steps to six and saved each adjuster about three hours a week. I work in Jira and Confluence, map in Visio and BPMN, and write my own SQL to check the data behind a requirement. I hold the CBAP designation and I'm open to senior BA roles in Toronto, hybrid or remote. Connect with me.

LinkedIn tips for business analysts in Canada
- Name your domain (banking, insurance, public sector, telecom). Canadian BA postings are often domain-specific and recruiters filter on it.
- Add the methods recruiters search for — BPMN, UAT, Agile/Scrum, user stories — in Skills as well as your headline.
- If you hold an IIBA certification (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP), list it under Licences & certifications so it shows in search filters.
