What the writer catches
- Generic openings. "I am writing to express my interest in..." — every time.
- CV restatement. If paragraph 2 lists what's already on your resume, flagged.
- Filler. "Passionate", "results-driven", "leverage", "team player."
- Weak close. "Look forward to hearing from you" → replaced with a real ask.
- Length. Over 300 words? Cut. Under 150? Underweight.

- Warm-formal (default): Most industries, most recruiters.
- Formal: Financial services, law, public sector.
- Direct: Tech and startups.
- Conversational: Small teams, referrals, "I know the founder" openings.
