Question: Tell me about a safety incident you handled correctly.
Situation. At Costco, I noticed a leaking 20L chemical tote on receipt before unloading.
Task. Contain the spill, protect the team, and report per WHMIS / TDG.
Action. I cordoned the area, donned PPE, used the spill kit per the SDS, paged the supervisor, and completed the incident report inside 30 minutes.
Result. Zero injuries, the carrier was charged back for the damaged unit, and our DC kept its 14-month no-recordable streak.
